Sri Lanka Association of Printers Successfully Conducts Business Seminar in Jaffna on 9th May 2026

 

The Sri Lanka Association of Printers successfully organized a highly informative and engaging business seminar at Tilko City Hotel, Jaffna, bringing together printing industry professionals and stakeholders from across the Northern Province.

 

The seminar attracted participants from Jaffna, Vavuniya, Mannar, and Kilinochchi, providing a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and discussions on the latest developments in the printing industry.

 

The event was organized under the leadership of Janaka Rathnakumara, President of the Sri Lanka Association of Printers, and coordinated by Project Chairmen Chayanka Wickremesinghe and Dinesh Mervyn, with the support of the Executive Committee and staff members of the Association.

 

The seminar featured an insightful presentation by distinguished guest speaker David Jayaraj, past COO of Printcare PLC , on the topic “Fundamentals of Cost Estimations, Pricing and Post Costing for the Printing and Packaging Industry.” His presentation provided participants with practical industry knowledge and valuable guidance on improving business efficiency and profitability.

 

In addition, JDC Printing Technologies conducted a technical presentation on colour management in digital and offset printing, emphasizing the importance of colour accuracy, consistency, and workflow optimization in modern print production.
