A productive first collaborative meeting was held recently between the National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA) and the Sri Lanka Association of Printers (SLAP), focusing on future planned courses and industry-oriented training initiatives.
The meeting was represented by NAITA Chairman Mr. Abdul Saththar, Director General Dr. W. M. S. Wijesinghe, Director (Planning) Mr. C. P. Subasinghe, and Assistant Director (Marketing & Career Guidance) Mr. Priyanthe Fernando.
Representing SLAP were President Mr. Janaka Rathnakumara, 1st Vice President Mr. Nishantha Perera, and Manager - SLAP Mr. ER Leonard.
This initial discussion marks a significant step toward a robust collaboration aimed at enhancing skills development and aligning vocational training with the evolving needs of Sri Lanka’s printing industry.
